The demi god Enkidu was a steward of the land and protector of animals created by the gods as a foil to King Gilgamesh. Early in his existence, Enkidu was rustic and rough around the edges, but over time he became more cultured and refined. Winemaker and owner, Phillip Staehle takes inspiration from the character of Enkidu. He works closely with growers who farm
